Two ReSound innovations that helped improve sound input intensity and resolve issues with howling (feedback) and distortion are their Wide Dynamic Range Compression (WDRC) and Digital Feedback Suppression (DFS) technologies.

The first Bluetooth (2.4 GHz) technology was introduced by ReSound, making it possible to connect your hearing aids to iPhone and Android devices, as well as connect to other digital devices. Connectivity in combination with the Remote Assist app allows your hearing instrument specialist to receive your programming adjustment requests and then forward new settings to be uploaded and applied to the device from a remote location.
