Hey there,

First and foremost, the whole team at Acadian Hearing Services hopes you and your loved ones are safe and well.

The events of the past few months have affected people right across Lake Charles. There are no words to describe how we feel about those who have suffered a loss.

That said, the spirit to overcome adversity runs deep in our communities.

And not long after the hurricane past, the Acadian Hearing Services team decided that our patients would remain at the center of our world, no matter the situation.

The Rebuild Journey

Like many people, our main premises suffered structural damage due to Hurricane Laura, and this meant that we had to close for a short period.

But after just one month, the building had a new roof, which as you can imagine lifted our spirits immensely.

Our south location luckily remained fully intact, and this meant that we could continue to offer hearing care services to new and existing patients.

On October 2, with the power and internet reconnected at both sites, we could decisively say, “We’re back!” and invite those who we’d missed to visit us or request an appointment.

And finally, on October 19, the Acadian Hearing Services team celebrated its first full week of supporting people throughout Lake Charles with their hearing healthcare needs.

It’s been one of our toughest periods, and we want to thank all of our patients for their understanding and fortitude throughout this process. We couldn’t have done it without you.

If you have a hearing concern, require an appointment, or need supplies, call our team now at (337) 436-3277 and we’d be happy to help!

How We’re Giving Back

Now that we’re back on our feet again, it only felt right to find a way of supporting others in Lake Charles who haven’t been as fortunate as us.

That’s why we created the “#LCStrong Holiday Hearing Aid Giveaway,” where one deserving member of our community will receive complimentary hearing technology and premium care.

It’s the least that we can do to show our appreciation to those who’ve continued to trust us with their hearing care needs throughout this period.

How Do You Enter?

The competition works through a nomination process, where you put someone’s name forward who you feel could benefit from new technology.

So, if your friend, loved one, or co-worker has ever mentioned a hearing challenge, now is a great time to give them a chance of winning!

You do this by filling out a short form on our website – giving a few details about your nominee and why they deserve to win.

We’ll close the competition at the end of November, and soon after, we’ll let the deserving person know that they’ve won this life-changing opportunity.

They’ll then be invited to a comprehensive hearing assessment, where they will be fit with their new devices, so they’re ready for the holidays and beyond.

We wish you the very best of luck!

Do you know somebody that needs to see this? Why not share it?
