COVID-19 Announcement [March 19, 2020]

As Louisiana’s most trusted hearing care experts, at Acadian Hearing Services, nothing matters more than the health and wellbeing of our patients and community.

With the challenges being presented by COVID-19 and based on recommendations by the CDC, an immediate five-step protocol has been put into place to ensure the safety of you, other patients and our team.

#1 – Hand Washing on Arrival

Upon entering, all patients must use the provided hand sanitizer.

#2 – Rescheduling Non-Essential Appointments

During these challenging times, the decision has been made to reschedule all non-essential appointments. If you have an upcoming appointment scheduled, our team will contact you shortly or you can contact us to reschedule/discuss.

#3 – Minimum Company for Appointments

You’re kindly asked to bring a maximum of one person with you for your appointment, and ideally visit alone if possible as we are limiting our waiting room to one person to ensure social distancing is in effect.

#4 – Thorough Cleaning Between Appointments

Between appointments, additional time has been scheduled to thoroughly clean all surfaces and ensure each patient is entering a sterile environment.

#5 – Please Ensure You’re in Good Health

In the same way that our team’s health is being monitored daily through temperature checks and routine hand sanitation, you are kindly asked to reschedule your appointment if you have had a fever or cough, or have traveled out of the country during the past two weeks.

Please do not visit us if you have any signs of being sick or have been in close contact with somebody sick in the last 14 days.

Please know that just as we have been for the past 34 years, Acadian Hearing Services is here for you.

Regardless of whether you need help with your hearing devices or you need any form of additional help/support, you are our family and you will always be treated like family

Please call us with any questions or challenges at (337) 436-3277

We are here for you.
