by | Apr 9, 2020 | Patient Resources | 0 comments

Acadian Hearing Services want to do everything we possibly can to help and support our patients and the wider community during this difficult time.  As our in-office appointments are now suspended the team have collated some website links that we wanted to share with you.  We hope you find the resources helpful.

COVID-19 Resources:

Office of the Governor – Here you can find wonderful resources including links to offer your services as a volunteer, counselling support, unemployment resources and business and homeowner resources to name a few.

Lake Charles Council on Aging – They provide nutritious and delicious meals, free of charge to those in need.  The team also act as a point of contact for those who are isolating alone and may go for long periods of time without seeing any friends or loved ones. They can also offer support and advise for those struggling with utility bills, transport, wellness and care giver support.

Access Health Louisiana – Provides COVID 19 resources for families.  Support on offer includes information about which schools are offering free school lunches for children during the crisis and Food Bank links.  There are useful links for families to apply for Medicaid benefits, small business disaster assistance and mental health support and guidance.

Do you know somebody that needs to see this? Why not share it?
