Many of my patients tell me that they frequently forget they are wearing their hearing aids since they fit well and feel comfortable for them.
This is so great to hear!
But, often, when people have had their hearing aids for a while, they may forget to give them some well earned TLC. Or, more commonly, my patients notice their hearing aids need a little maintenance work, but they don’t know what to do and believe it’s something only audiologists can do.
In fact, hearing aid maintenance is so easy to do at home, and especially now, during these times, we believe it to be important that our patients have this option.
This is why we have produced this simple little video to show you how to the wax filter on your RIC hearing aid. Your wax filters will need changing from time to time, to allow the best quality of sound to pass through your devices and work at the best.
