Since the start of the pandemic, many of us have acquired some new DIY skills in an attempt to replace the services that became unavailable to us during this time.

Now, although over this period, we still provided most of our services, albeit in a different way, we thought many of our patients might find it useful to have some instructions produced to guide them through at-home hearing aid maintenance.

For those patients who have ITE or custom hearing aids, this one is for you!

As these devices are smaller, they require special care to keep them clean and working at their best. So here’s what you will need to clean your ITE or custom hearing aid:

  • A dry cloth – never use a wet cloth or a cloth that has a chemical solution on.
  • A hearing aid cleaning brush

For instructions on how to clean your hearing aids, our team has created this short video tutorial to give you a step by step guide on exactly what to do.

If you or a loved one requires support with your hearing device, please don’t hesitate to contact our team. We are currently operating under strict CDC guidelines should you wish to visit our office for hearing aid mainatance or repairs. Alternatively, you can use our drop-off service to have your hearing aids checked and repaired safely and conveniently.

Just call us at 337 436-3277 to find out more.
