Surprising the Winner of the SWLA Strong Holiday Hearing Aid Giveaway

On November 1st, we introduced the ‘SWLA Strong Holiday Hearing Aid Giveaway’.

We invited our patients and friends to nominate somebody special within the community that deserves a complimentary pair of hearing aids as well as our advanced audiological care.

We wanted a real hero. Somebody that prioritized others, but needed a helping hand with their hearing.

There were over 30 entries, but one person stood out.

With the agreement of their colleagues, we decided to surprise them at their place of work.

Helping people to hear the life that they love is what Acadian Hearing Services has been doing since 1986 and we’re so proud of this great community.

Dr. Heidi J Sorrells - Audiologist

Dr. Heidi J. Sorrells obtained her doctorate degree from Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, and master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Minot State University in Minot, North Dakota. She is a certified audiologist by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and she holds a Louisiana and a Texas audiology license. Dr. Sorrells enjoys all aspects of working in a private practice audiology clinic but especially loves the challenges of vestibular (balance) assessment and rehabilitation.
